Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 25 July 2026 · Last updated: 25 July 2026
These terms govern your use of CSCS Practice Test at https://cscspracticetest.co.uk. By accessing or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is free. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to pay, which keeps these terms shorter than most.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the site you confirm that you accept these terms and that you will comply with them. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is aware you are using the site.
The site is operated by The CSCS Practice Test Team, a small independent publisher based in England and Wales, publishing as CSCS Practice Test. Postal address: Unit 7, Northgate Business Centre, 118 Kingsway, Manchester M19 2FR.
2. What the service is
We provide free practice questions, mock tests and written guides relating to the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test and the CSCS card scheme.
We are an independent publisher. We are not CITB, CSCS Ltd or Pearson VUE, we cannot book tests or issue cards, and our practice questions are not the official examination questions. Our Scope and Limitations page sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
3. Permitted use
- You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial revision.
- You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back.
- Employers and training providers may direct workers or learners to the site freely.
4. Prohibited use
- Copying, scraping or republishing our question bank, explanations or guides, in whole or in substantial part, whether or not for commercial gain.
- Using automated systems, bots or scrapers to extract content or place unreasonable load on the site.
- Presenting our content as your own, or as official CITB or CSCS material.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or introducing malicious code.
- Any unlawful use, or use that infringes the rights of others.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Our content
The practice questions, explanations, guides, design and code on this site are our original work and are protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.
5.2 Third-party rights
CSCS, CITB, Pearson VUE and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively to identify the tests and schemes we write about. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed or implied.
The official CITB question bank is protected by copyright and is not reproduced anywhere on this site.
5.3 Copyright complaints
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please see our Copyright and Takedown policy or contact contact@cscspracticetest.co.uk.
6. No guarantee of results
Practising here improves your chances. It does not guarantee that you will pass the CITB HS&E test, obtain a CSCS card, or gain access to any site.
Our questions are written from the published syllabus and are not the questions you will face. Scoring well here is encouraging, not predictive.
7. Not professional advice
Content on this site is educational revision material. It is not health and safety advice for a real workplace, and it is not a substitute for your employer's training, risk assessments, method statements and supervision.
Never rely on a practice question when making a decision that affects anyone's safety. Follow your site rules, your supervisor and the law.
8. Accuracy and availability
We check our facts against official sources and date them, but rules and fees change and errors happen. Content is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
9. Third-party links and advertising
The site contains links to third-party websites, and may carry advertising in future. We do not control those sites or any products advertised and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.
Some links are affiliate links, which are disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. That includes a failed test, a rejected card application, lost earnings, lost opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
11. Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms and that causes us loss, you agree to reimburse us for reasonable costs and claims arising directly from your breach.
12. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The Last Updated date above shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
14. If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If any provision of these terms is found by a court to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the rest of the terms continue in full force. A court finding one clause unenforceable does not release either of us from the remainder.
If we do not enforce a right under these terms straight away, that is not a waiver of it. We can still enforce it later.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
