1. How to report an error

Send us the page address, what you believe is wrong, and if you have it, the official source that shows the correct position. You do not need to be certain or to be polite about it. A short message saying a page looks wrong is enough for us to check.

• A wrong answer or explanation in a practice question.
• An out-of-date fee, validity period or scheme rule.
• A broken link, a wrong phone number or a dead official reference.
• Anything that reads as though we are claiming to be CITB or CSCS.

2. What we do when we receive a report

• We acknowledge reports within five working days.
• We check the claim against the primary source, which means CITB or CSCS rather than another revision site.
• If you are right, we fix the page, update its verification date and reply to tell you it is done.
• If we cannot verify either position, we say so on the page rather than picking the answer that sounds better.

Substantive corrections are noted on the page they affect, with the date, so you can see that something changed and when.

We do not silently rewrite a page that gave materially wrong guidance. Quiet edits are how a site keeps its reputation while its readers keep the consequences.

Minor fixes such as typographical errors and broken links are made without a note.

5. Where we already know our confidence is limited

Rather than wait to be caught, we publish our known weak points.

• A small number of question answers are flagged internally as awaiting verification against the official CITB revision publication.
• CITB does not publish the waiting period before a failed test can be retaken, and third-party sources disagree. Our page says so and tells readers to confirm when rebooking.
• Several specialist topics do not yet have a dedicated question set, and those pages say so.
• Our test-mapping for card types is indicative and readers are told to confirm with the official CSCS Card Finder.

6. Independence of corrections

Corrections are made on the evidence. No advertiser, affiliate partner or training provider can have accurate information removed, and none of them can have a correction suppressed because it is commercially inconvenient.

7. If you disagree with our decision

If we decline a correction and you think we are wrong, reply and say so, or escalate to contact@cscspracticetest.co.uk. We will look again. We would rather have the argument than leave a bad answer in the bank.
