1. Our content

The practice questions, explanations, guides, page design and source code on CSCS Practice Test are our original work and are protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

You may quote short extracts for review, comment or news reporting with clear attribution and a link. You may not copy, scrape or republish the question bank or guides in whole or in substantial part.

If you are a training provider or employer who would like to use our material with learners, ask us. We are usually happy to say yes.

2. The official CITB question bank

The official CITB Health, Safety and Environment questions are protected by copyright. We do not hold them and we do not reproduce them anywhere on this site.

Our questions are written independently from the published syllabus to assess the same underlying knowledge. If you believe any specific item of ours reproduces protected material, tell us and we will investigate and remove it if that is the case.

3. Third-party trademarks

CSCS, CITB, Pearson VUE and associated names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. We refer to them descriptively to identify the tests and schemes we write about, which is lawful nominative use.

We do not use their logos as though we were endorsed by them, and every page states that we are independent.

4. Submitting a takedown notice

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email contact@cscspracticetest.co.uk with the following, so we can act quickly.

• Your name, organisation and contact details.
• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• The exact page addresses on this site where the material appears.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

5. What we do with a notice

We acknowledge within five working days. Where a complaint is well-founded, or where we cannot quickly satisfy ourselves that it is not, we will remove or restrict access to the material while we investigate.

We would rather take something down and look at it properly than leave contested material up. If we conclude the material was not infringing, we will explain why and may restore it.

6. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to us with your contact details, identification of what was removed and where it appeared, and a statement of why you believe the removal was in error.

We will review it and, where appropriate, restore the material and inform the original complainant.

7. Repeat infringers

We do not host user-generated content at present. Should we introduce it, we will terminate access for repeat infringers.
